Pipe Bursting

Robert Griggs Plumbing & Heating has tools and equipment to replace existing underground pipes without costly excavations that damage pavement, landscaping or finished floors. We can replace existing water, sewer, gas and conduit piping up to 6” using our pipe bursting equipment. This splits apart the existing pipe as a new pipe is pulled through in its place. We can also increase the pipe size if additional capacity is needed. We are able to do this both inside and outside buildings.

Using our minimally invasive technology, we are able to locate the pipe on both sides of the section to be replaced. We dig a small hole at each end to expose the pipe and fit the equipment. We insert a steel cable through the pipe to be replaced, which pulls a new pipe through as it splits apart the old pipe. When we are finished, you are left with a brand new pipe and no ugly scar across the surface.
